Will a sealed MDF + Fiber box work good?

I have a VW Amarok truck, and the space on the back is very limited, i already did a standard sealed MDF box but it fits very tight, to the point that can barely lift and close the seat, the woofer still touches on the top and started to leave some marking on the back of the seat, being a newbie on this i got a little worried if the rubber of is wearing so i turn it off and reset the radio so no sub.

I been searching forums and for what amarok owners have done, and found one that i liked a lot, specially because of how uneven is the back of the truck, but wondering with you guys having a ton of experience on this subject if you guys think its a good idea to build it with MDF on the sides and Fiber on the back?

More worried about how it will work out, here where i live, none recommends fiber, and i yet to find someone that can do it, i still have some people to visit, but decided to open this thread to see what you guys think about fiber+mdf combo for a sealed sub woofer?

Thanks for any opinions,

Fiberglass work is time consuming and pretty expensive to do. Not really worth it for the performance you get. Can you fit a sub underneath your seat maybe? Or do you have room for a center console enclosure? But yea I've never seen a VW truck before. Pretty cool lol.
