I DID have him ignored for awhile but he posts so much "advice" that you really need to see what he is telling people... Oh well...

he's corrected you too and so have others.. i've said like equipment/ subs so i like the way some looks or whatever, don't know how they sound if i ain't had them so i shop, u tell me it's crap so i find other subs that most peeps say are good and i want them but not to be really loud as i've said i drive 40 miles a week.. so no i'm not going to spend $800 more on stereo or waste time and $ to build a crooked box.. i'm doing what ya'll have told me, ask before i buy, and my sub is crap.. so i'm asking ya'll what 12" sub isn't crap that'll work on my amp for really twice what my sub cost? like i say ya'll are the ones that tell me to stop talking about my sub cause it ***** but now when i ask about a sub u say i gotta spend tons of $ to be louder than my crappy sub., when what i have is loud enough for me.. i was going by what ya'll said (i know 4th time i used that word) and all i do is take heat for not making box others here have prefabs or had others make their box and u have said nice box i've peeps pay more than that., but u want me to mess up a box no thanks.. i don't understand this obsession with forcing peeps into box building (yes i wish i could but i can't).. like i said i was looking at BETTER subs to make ya'll happy, so u will stop insulting sub i have, and all i get whole thread is insults for doing what u told me to do... thanks for the help everyone..

I think that its just a case of them wanting to see a solution be put in place and action to happen and you are very much into getting a myriad of options before you pull the trigger. I also know that $$ doesnt grow on trees. I know that im hesitant to buy anything becuase of the mistake i made in my original purchases. They see it as spam, you see it as conversation fodder. I wouldnt let what they say about your sub be the driving factor behind replacing it. If you want to go louder, sure, consider a different sub or even just a different box or both. But i cant agree more with the idea that a custom box is the way to go to get the most out of whatever sub you end up going with
