Sundown 1500D issues

Just got my saz1500D hooked up to my Fi Q12". Having some problems. All 0 gauge ran to the back, to a block and to the amp. Running off an alpine 9887. First time I hooked it all up, it played for a while, but I thought it sounded a little weak. I kept switching through songs and then it just quit playing. Pulled the box out, made sure all connectinos were good inside and put it back in. Turn it on and it plays for a little bit again then stops. Unhook the speaker wires and hook them back up, it plays again then stops.

The red protect LED never comes on, it is not hot. Its wired to 1 ohm, reads .7~.8 on the DMM. It doesn't matter where the speaker wires are hooked up right? I have them on the bottom + and - .

When it is playing, like I said it seems only about half power or so. What could be causing this problem?

Measured in the 13's when it shuts off with the truck running, 11.8x with the truck off. I also have a kicker zx650.4 running off of the same distro blocks that stays running fine.

Is there a way to adjust the input voltage of the rca's? It should be 4v. I noticed there is a gain and a bass boost adjustment. Its my first sundown amp, so not sure about any trouble shooting.

It is grounded with 0 gauge on a seat bolt that has 0 gauge connected to that underneath the truck going to the frame. The batt also has 0 gauge going to the frame.

It is necessary to use both + and - terminals?

on the sundown to get it bridged to not hurt the amp you need to use both +'s on the amp and both -'s that should fix your problem..
yes for a 1 ohm load each + and - can handle 2-8 ohms run a jumper wire to both + and both - and the power will fly as long as nothing has been hurt

So I can just use a jumper right on the amp going from + to + and - to - right? I doubt anything has been hurt, it wasn't at loud volumes and it has probably played for less than a minute total. I didn't want to risk anything.

No you do not need to use all the speaker terminals, they're just there to make it easier for you.

Its a mono amp so using jumpers would have no effect as its connected internally.. (unless you're strapping two amps)
