is this amp 1 ohm stable? I have looked everywhere and it does not say it is but it also does not say it is not. I am powering a single type r 1222d and I want to get the most out of my amp. If it is not 1 ohm stable, is there any way I can wire my sub for a 2 ohm load? And if not that, will the 400 x 1 RMS @ 4 ohms be enough to power my sub and make it sound good?

Its not 1 ohm stable

You cant wire that sub to 1 ohm

400 is not enough for your sub.

You need to buy a 700-1000 rms amp at 1 ohm.

Your totally fine, 400rms @ 2 ohms to that sub will add some bump. Just enjoy it

It will give you bass, but r's can get rediculously loud ported with 700-1000 rms.

I was already going to port it, at 2 cubes @ 32hz. Are you guys absolutely sure I cannot wire the sub to a 2ohm load? because the guy who is installing it was talking about wiring it in a series and parallel, which I know nothing about, and he said he could. Also, are you guys absolutely positive the amp cannot run at 1ohm? it is a very good amp
