Suggestion low budget subwoofer for Kicker CX600.1 Amplifier

Those lanzars dont take but 1-200w to get going, but they dont do much on the low extension spectrum. I also blew one on 400w. Id opt for the jbl which im also familar with

cheap underbuilt chinese sh*t. pioneer is bottom of the barrel when it comes to subwoofers and speakers that are under 400 dollars. Only thing pioneer does right is the head units.

this is the jbl on 400 watts in a loud tuned enclosure. You wont get close to this if you are using a sealed box but its just an example of what the sub can do.

i've heard them ported with 500 and they surprised the **** out of me.. you do realize ever sub under 100 bucks has about 10mm xmax? ported you will never reach that with 300 RMS

AB xd, ab xo, sundown lcs, kicker cvr, ap txx, sq hds200, and the list goes on of stuff over 10mm xmax. Some of these may msrp over 100 but can commonly be found below 100$. 10mm xmax is a low benchmark these days

You are the one that stated every sub under 100$ has 10mm xmax. And i dont rely on modeling stuff up. In car response changes too much. Larger box and port area can easily get a sub to xmax on 300w

For a cheap sub that actually sounds good and can slamm/take some power from my experience in 1.4 cu ft @34 htz in theyre own boxes each on an old white Autotek Mean Machine 99 in a 92 Integra, they slammed theyre azzes off for the money, and actually sounded pretty dammned good

Actualy i got a nice deal today on the JBL mentioned in this thread, about 90$ CAD.

Installed it and it seems like it's better than my old Alpine sub type R.
