Almost, he linked the dual coil version, i linked the single coil one. Maybe i'm wrong.. as far as i understand the dual coil is mainly cool because of wiring options not really for sound quality?

its super cheap boss status stuff. i've heard lanzar woofers sound much better.

I just purchased two 12 inch GT5s, Jeff recommended them to me. Found a decent 650w rated amp @ 2 ohms for $110.00 they are in a small sealed box, but I am going to put them in a custom ported box soon. Pretty satisfied so far. By the way, they aren't 'boss status' far from it. Boss is almost incomparable to anything else. These JBLs are not the best, but for $50 bucks a sub, they are pretty decent. 275w power handling, but most speakers can actually take a bit more than rated if feeding them a clean unclipped signal. pretty good motor force for such a cheap lower power handling sub, play low enough for his tastes, and don't require a huge box. He wants a budget sub. If he wanted a non-budget sub he would of asked. So saying 'spend this much more money and get...' is useless to him. hes fitting a budget, aswell as matching power handling to his amp.

becasue they just ****. honestly Id save a few bucks and get something worth spending the time installing and something you can be proud to own.

the lanzar max woofers ported kick *** for the price thats about the only sub worth a **** at that price point.

I can use lower sub woofer rms wattage than the amplifier but not the reverse right?
