hey guys i need some advise.i want to put some subs in my 03 mercedes benz E500.
i have the stock harmon kardon logic 7 surround sound and it is very clear and has good mids and highs but i need some down low.
the car has a factory 10 in the rear deck but its a weak sub and it one of those inside out designs and bottoms out really easy and i know i cant expect good bass from a stock system.
i dont want it to over power the mids and highs so i was thinking a sealed box with eather 1 or 2 tens and a 4-500 watt amp. what do you guys think?
i use a lot of the memphis audio stuff and have had good luck with them.
i know the benz trunk is sealed up good so im going to remove the stock sub for venting in to the car and i was thinking about some how mounting the box under the rear deck fireing up at the rear deck or just have them like a normal set up fireing at the rear of the trunk. i dont know what will sound best so im looking for some sugestions. how about 1 12 inch free air monted under the rear deck?.
