The W7 still wipes the floor for suspension distortion (which a long with BL is the dominate form of distortion in the low frequencies) . most of the cookie cutter drivers are years behind. You cant just use 20 year old parts and beat the W7 in every category. You can give something more L (more layers on the vc) and therefore boost the 'BL', but the W7's target BL was for sealed boxes. So i would even say, its not lacking in any way in its indented design. Many other subs that ppl claim are better are are simply not, at least not in 'all' ways. And why?
(Please keep them around the same price as a 12w7)
lol... idk if he knows who kyle is...I'd say Kyle's probably heard those since he had a hand in building them...
Yeah, just ripped the rear door apart and there's WAY too much sheetmetal in thee to fit the motor of the sub into the door. Small motored 8s would be an easy fit, and if I were going with 8s that's where they'd be going, but since I'm using the IXL 10s...going with a standard style box on the floor in the place of the rear jumps.Trying to find some spare panels for the rear doors in the truck. Tiny sealed box, one in each rear door is the direction that I'm leaning right now...
i now kyle very well i was sponsered by tcsounds a couple yrs agolol... idk if he knows who kyle is...
