Sound Splitter is looking real nice.

Seriously, just flip a coin. You give no frame of reference for what improvements you want over the driver you are talking about. Have you even heard the JL?

I also have a pair of the IXL 10s that I'm waiting to install. Only plan on using 800w to the pair and not concerned about lacking output. Flat response for the pair (before cabin gain) comes in a 1.5 cf box tuned to 25 hz, yes 25. Sealed they only want between .5 and .75 cf for the pair for an anechoic F3 of around 46hz. In car they'll get as low as you could ever need. Output sealed would be as good as any pair of 10s.
look forward to your install and review //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i plan on doing 2 10's or 2 12's myself, only thing is with decent port area, anything below 30hz in a 1.5 cf box at 25hz, port is going to have more area than the box lol

Yes I have that's why I'm having a hard time choosing a different sub.
Alright, so what is it about this unit that you *did not* like? Without this kind of info (like I said before) all you'll end up with is a bunch of random posts, which you did.

Of course, you can run out and get yourself a Treo since you seem to be favouring that. It may or may not surpass your requirements - one can only guess since we have no idea what it is you're after.

Nothing wrong with that upgrade loop though. That's what keeps companies in business...

Yes I have that's why I'm having a hard time choosing a different sub.
well its obvious u want something louder than a 12w7 but sound alot better ...correct?

if thats the case get the sound splinter rls 12...the only problem u face with that sub is finding the power to drive it...the perfect amp thatg i know of is the old ppi21400 or ppi2350..both can do atleast 1400 watts @ 4 ohms or if u get 2 rls12's u can do 2 sundown 15005.s strapped...oh man if u do 5cubes with 70square inches of port tuned to 35hz u could easly play music in the low 150's no lie..cuz it will be peaky ...but if u want a more flat response do 8cubes with a 70square inch port tuned to 28hz and u will be shitting on every setup in ur area and then sum...cuz u will be loud no doubt but u will sound amazing in the process...people will be shocked and how low the subs can go and at a loud level
