Subwoofer Setup Build Help

I was wondering what subwoofer and box would sound the best in a 07 chevy classic silversdo 2500hd? I have a rockford fosgate power series 1000bdcp amp already and two kicker cvr 10s in a slead box behind the seat that I dont like it sounds. I will use this amp on the new subwoofer setup that I go with. Would a two FI X series 10" subwoofers in a down fire enclosure under the seat sound better just give me some insite on this? I want a system that will hit hard but sound awesome thanks

that's a big factor, you need a custom built enclosure for subs, you can make a $60 sound good in the right enclosure, look at the specs for enclosures on your subs and decide weather you want sealed or ported, and make one or get one of the box builders on here to make you one

I dont know off anyone in louisiana that makes customboxes for my truck. Who on here could I buy a custom built box from online that makes them for my truck?

Would some FI X series 10s sound better than the kicker cvr 10s or even a different brand? I want something that some awesome and hits as hard as possible for this truck.

fi, incriminator, ssa, that's probably what your aiming for, the names of the box builders, 007, or pro rabbit are the ones that pop into my head right now that do boxes on here

Let me ask the question like this what subwoofer and enclosure setup would would fit in a 07 chevy classic silverado 2500hd crew that does the best? I know people are saying a custom box would make a sub sound alot better. But what setup would still retain the rear seat but hit hard and sound awesome? Would 8s or 10s sound better and hit hard in this small amount of space?
