Subs with good SQ?

both are good subs the infinities are better for sound quality i think never work with them directly as for the alpines the difference between r and s besides the price is power handling and construction that is about it.

I have owned both type s and type r and I loved them both. The type r subs can handle way more power. I own a 15 type r and it takes 1500 peak. I started competing last year and this year i am moving up to iasca sound Q. I still reccomend the type s over jl wo's or anything, it's tough Infinity's have a great sound but so does alpine, type s i would even reccomend for sq.

I own two type R 12" subs. I love them. i got a piece of crap sony amp pumping the juice and boy do they hit. I'm only sending about 190W to each of them. I'm gonna upgrade the amp, when i do that they'll sound even better and hit even harder.

Brahmas are nice. I have a 10" Mk1. Just a single 10 was enough for me.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
