subs that are designed to play low and get loud

I was running a dd2510 tuned to 40hz and got the lows great and took 1k daily with no problems.

I would love to run the DD9518's but its just too much for my pockets.

you think the AQ SDC2.5 will play lower and louder than the t1 cause i was thinking about t1 's but if its better it would be a fine choice cause i have 1850rms to give the subs i buy next

dude....its dependent on the box, electrical, and tuning....not dependent on sub...

box tuned to 28hz with optima up front and stinger in the back 0guage wire through out the car and a good alternator so power is not an issue jus want to hit high number in the 20-30hz range.

A random tuning with no accounting for the cabin will not give us any information about whether it can drop low or not. I have designed enclosures that are tuned to 33hz that have gotten lower than enclosures tuned to 27hz in the same vehicle.

how big is your box what amp you have? And yes the woofer is very important when designing a system... some subs just won't excell down low like others will.. a 9515 won't get nearly as low as a Havoc... honestly a pair of AA chaos 15 would kill with the correct box with 900 per driver... so owuld the DD 2515s. again if you give some measurements we cna help you futher...

when talking about a sub getting low. do you use the box size that they list always to get the best low end response? most times u can make a bigger box and get lower. like for instance with the RE SE 15. The FS is 22 and they recomend a box of 2.0 cubes sealed. how would it compare to a box of say 3 cubes, then 4 cubes? would that 4 cubes sealed have that much more output than the 2? i'm talking 25-35 hz

how much space do you have??? thats what is going to be the big factor...
