RD sonance is meant to play "rediculously. Low freq" but they aren't meant for spl they sound like exactly what ur looking for

No, its all about the box. As long as the setup is straight its the box. I can make a 500 dollar sub sound like shit in one box and sound amazing in another.

i must have explained this 2 doven times already.. different woofers are designed differently.. 9500 aren't made for estended lowend, while audiopulse axis is.. you can get almost anything to get low, but some woofers are naturally better in certian alignments... nuff said...

I bet I could get a 9500 to play flat from 15-80hz with no problems at all and still have plenty of output.

While it might be easier to do it with a different driver, that doesn't mean it won't be possible or efficient. The enclosure and how it's coupled to the listening environment is far more important than the driver being used. The driver is important in deciding the enclosure type and alignment but the box will be primary factor.

ill put money on it... in a car, while still being efficient.. the suspension/motor won't allow it.. the 9500 are that efficient anyways.. i used a good deal of woofers... the 9500 is made to have higher tunes in larger boxes with greator amounts of power, not for superior lowend capibilites.. i have tried to get 9515s flat, 4.5 tuned to 30 output is poor above 65 but it has good output around tuning up to about 55.. tried smaller boxes and lowen was very limited...Ive tried 3.5 to 12 cubes.lmfao

as compared to a w7 or barahma in 4 cubes they just have much more lowend extention ... why tried to get a woofer thats not designed for the install to do so VIA box... also if the box WS the dominant factor there would be no ludest woofer per a given install... people for years have tried many woofers in a specific install changing out dozens of woofers and boxes yet only ONE combonation of the 2 work best.. the woofer is very important in having a great souning and/or loud system.. not all cars are the same..

The Elite would be my over all choice. It loves 1000 watts as a min.
