subs slanting up???

i was just wondering sense my trunk wont be big enought to fit 15s facing perpendicualr to the floor of the trunk woudl it stilll soudn the same if i put them in a box that tilts them back facing the top of my trunk just a little? and woudl this cause my trunk to rattle at all?

yeh, im thinking about the same thing, 15"s wont fit regualr up and down in my trunk real well, so ur just saying put them on an angle right? Thats what im planing on doing if i go 15"s next...

yeah it will still be loud, but u also goto think youll be loosin air space by angeling the box...and yeah, i believe it will still rattle... maybe even mor, for now youll be send the waves upwards towards the trunk

well ur not really loosing air space if u account or an angle in ur design...

my cousin had 2 orion 15s in a hatchback...which if you dont have a trunk it is not quite the same..but anyways it rattled like a *****..but after he did some stuff to the hatch it did ok..but the sound will be almost the exact same if it was facing up inless you are going from the floor up to the deck lid..then it will be rattle city...

Yup I'm sure you won't notice any differance. And I don't think it will help or hinder your rattling problem! If it rattled with them facing the back it will prolly do the same as if you angle them.

the box in my car is facing upwards at about 130 degree angle from the floor. it is mainly to get the box as far back in the trunk as i can for space purposes, but i had the box perpindicular to the floor, and it sounded about the same, about 1-2 db's louder maybe when the box was perpindicular.
