Just picked up a working rockford t3000 for $200. Was wondering what subs will go good with it. Have plenty space and dont have a budget in mind as this will be in the near future.

He claimed a 4000 watt amp when he got there but im just glad he probably doesnt know about posting things fs online otherwise id probably wouldnt own it.

Any recomendations for subs? Currently own 2 l7 15s in ported probox

whats your budget? How many subs are you wanting to run?

I would start with a set of 12s, with at least 1500wrms apiece. SQ subs, SSA, American Bass, just a few to get you started on your search. What ever you choose, don't skimp on the box, definitely ported, custom ported.

If you like those woofers and don't want new ones, those will work. They are 1000rms/2000 peak. And im running 1500rms to one L7 15 and it loves it!

After imp rise and voltage the L7s will be fine. Speaking of voltage can you power that amp? Put those L7s in 3.5 cubes per and see what happens.
