I bought 2 of their 10s, I have a build log for a box on the forum here that I did recently for 1 of the 10s in a ported box.

The Type R is a great sounding sub. I preferred it over the W6.

Posted that yesterday a couple posts in. Would be my choice at that wattage range. Not too mention they have been known to take much more then that and have no issues at all.

End up with Alpine Type R12 for $220 local
I ran 2 Type R 12 about 15 years ago really like the sound, the new Gen should sound good
