i am now wondering if the compressed files i listen to are the reason for low bass response. I have never bought a real rap cd with decent lows in it, so i am wondering if it could be the fact that the compressed files aren't allowing the subs to respond the way they normally would? What do you think about this?to my understanding, you don't know shit.
yes i am, i think if i get type x's they will perform better sealed. But i don't know, i don't want to buy some re sx's or something like that since they aren't recommended to be sealed. But i want better output.Weren't you the person who sealed his type-rs(OP)

i rest my case.i am now wondering if the compressed files i listen to are the reason for low bass response. i guess you have experience between the two, how much shittier do mp3 files sound when comparing them to actual rap cd's? is the bass response alot better in the cd from your experience? Like i said, i don't buy actual rap cd's. Maybe i should right?i rest my case.
Only problem with me is I can't stand listening to shіtty rap music long enough to tell the difference between an MP3 and a CD.i guess you have experience between the two, how much shittier do mp3 files sound when comparing them to actual rap cd's? is the bass response alot better in the cd from your experience? yeah, i know. i barely listen to rap as well, but when i do i throw in some three 6 mafia and want that shit pretty loud. I have know idea the difference between a compressed file and real cd track when it comes to rap. Metal/rock is a different story.Only problem with me is I can't stand listening to shіtty rap music long enough to tell the difference between an MP3 and a CD.
FYI, you do realize that there is other music designed to hit ultra low notes besides RAP, right? Also, today's commercial RAP is shorthand for CRAP!
what voltage are they supposed to be seeing?you can use a dmm on that too. hook it up to the rca and see how many volts its putting out.
i just tried to measure the preout voltage and it wouldn't work for some reason.what voltage are they supposed to be seeing?
Let's take a band like Tool. I can tell the difference between Apple Lossless encoded files and 320 Kb/sec encoded MP3s with most of their material. Now, telling the difference between Apple Lossless and the actual CD content is pretty tough. I can't pick it out, but I have some friends with elaborate HT systems that claim they can tell the difference, even though they are using the IPOD digital dock to interface with their HT systems.yeah, i know. i barely listen to rap as well, but when i do i throw in some three 6 mafia and want that shit pretty loud. What's violent bass air. LOl. I have my theories but I want a answer. James you should know!i rest my case.
