usually i'd go for the lowest impedence possible for my amp to put out daily with no worry's...... get the most out of your system, but saying that, the lower the ohm the more distortion = less quality

^^x2 it really depends on the amp and what it needs/can handle to get the most power out of it.

I agree with miker... check your amps minimal impededce and look at a wiring diagram on crutchfield or Rockford's web and match the two. Depends on svc or dvc subs also
