Sub works fine, no voltage reading from speaker outputs to set the gain

So I went to set up my gains on sub amp and LC2i LOC.
Went fine with LC2i. But when I hook up the leads to the speaker outs...I get nothing on the multi meter. What the heck gives?

if you have sub play from amp when sub connected to amp sub/speaker output terminals then your doing it wrong when probing with meter.
I bet your set to ohms huh?

Ha no thank goodness I got the DMM set to AC Voltage but youre right..well initially I was leaving the wires in, but last time, I removed them, stuck the terminals in and screwed the thing down from up top and voila!! No Freakin Reading still!!? AMp works fine, everytihn does, Im just trying to set it up! grrr
