sub weight

Quick question while we are on this topic, should I worry about my shocks and stuff with all of my system weight. I'm thinking mine will be around or over 100lbs. Is it good for the shocks to have to deal with that wieght for long periods of time, or am I just worrying about nothing???

Before I transfered my stereo out of my '77 Bronco and into my jeep, I had two 12" W7s that weighed a little over 45 pounds, both were in sealed boxes hat weighed over 50 pounds a piece, then the two 1000/1s in a amp rack were right behind them. It say there was close to 300 pounds in my cargo area. Anyway my rear shocks and leaf springs eventually got a little squeeky, especially going over speed bumps and stuff of that nature. Now that all the equipment is out, the rear suspension doesn't squeek any more.

Nice.... I pay $100 a month and that is with my parents picking up like $20 or so. Never timed the buick but i have beat lots of freinds in small stupid drags with it... Even though she is old I still love her...;-)
