Sub to Amplifier question

I have 2 jl audio subs, the type is 13w1v2-8, Which proably means that its 8 ohms, I have a amp that can power them both (800 watts total) but its a 4ohm amp and was wondering if i need to go return the one i have and get a bigger size.

Couldnt i go to two? because to power them both i need to go to 2 because at 4 i only get 450.
