Sub shoot out FI Q vs. DA D6 vs. Boston G5 vs. JLW6

Sub shoot out 10" There will be two 10" subs. FI Q, Diamond Audio D6, Boston G5, JLW6v2. Looking for impact, sound quality, loudness. SQL that is why these subs where chosen.

I have 1.75^3 to work with no more(each of these subs are recommended in this range). The box will be ported with the option to plug it if that sounds better for the subs. 1000watts rms power for the pair.

Who wins SQL? I do plan to do this.

Slot port that exits out the side similar to this. This box with the 12" was basically a trial build. I will refine things in the two 10" box. The top is just a frame for the amp rack.

Truck I am doing this in. 2008 Tundra CM. Not exactly your pimp ride but a hell of a truck none the less. New 20's coming this summer.

i had 2 d6s and they sounded amazing and were very loud.

Old 12" box. Lets just say the new one hits a little lower and louder The only problem I have is the 12W6 just cant take much powa. The impact is not what I was hoping for too.

More updates soon as I get the box built and start getting the subs. I am by no means an expert but I have owned quite a few systems in my day. I hope this benifits others as well. I will probably keep the top two subs that I like the most.

Thinking about this some more I may do the test with one 10". This would give me more power and cut the cost of this test down.
