I have a 1994 ford f-150 ext. cab, and i want to put a sub in it, but i have no idea what amp should go with what power sub so i need some help. Im thinking of getting this sub: KFC-W3012 - Kenwood 12" 1200 Watt Single 4-Ohm Subwoofer

Im pretty sure this is a good sub for the money but if there are any bett erones let me know.

And this enclosure:ST112 - Ground Shaker 12" Single Sealed Truck Box

Would that work? I was thinking of putting the sub behind the passenger seat, in between the passenger seat and the bench seat in the back.

Last question, what amp should i get to run that sub? I need something cheap and relatively small. Thanks in advance

I would stay away from that sub and look into a mb quart rwe 352 they can be had for around a hundred shipped and they only need about 1.5 cubes for a 15. They will take 700 rms and they sound great. Then look in the classifieds for an amp that does around 600-700 at 1 or 4 ohms

This might be stupid question but an amp that does 1 or 4 ohms would work with a sub that does 2 ohms?
