Sub reference.

I am looking into a new sub I want something that will lets say get as loud as a Type R and sound better doing it. That about sums it up. Budget is 400 new.

I have never heard the idmax but have read good reviews. How are these in output compared to the R. I know they sound better.

Lmao,I know this. This sub is going in a DD. That MT is going in a spl project. I am just reviewing subs for future install.

I know but that sub lacks SQ. Its an SPL sub. I want a sub that sounds good and gets loud so aa SQL sub.

A 10 to save space and lets say 1000-2000 watts above that and SQ is out the window. Ported.

If you dont care to ebay...I would try out the MTX 9510 here is a review posted by limitkid7 he speaks very highly of it and has had some pretty **** nice subs to compare to......

I have read that before. I have actually heard those subs in a shop but what can you tell from that.

Those are similar to the Digital Design 3500 subs right? How is the SQ on those.
