Sub "rattling"? Sounds like the cone is hitting something..help!

Like the title says..it sounds like the cone is hitting against the inside..but the powers no where near up where I usually have it. Could it be damaged? kappa perfect 12.1 SVC at 4 ohms from a rockford 500S.

An air leak or tinsel slap. I've heard it on Perfects before. It only happens at certain frequencies. Sounds like a metalic ping, it's tinsel slap. Glue a piece of 1/4" felt/padding to the inside of the cone where the tinsels hit.
