I have owned my car (2004 Dodge Neon) for about 3 months now and I have decided to upgrade from my completely stock speakers. I am new to all of the car audio equipment and just looking for some experienced advice. I would like to spend under $300 because it will be my first system and I am a 16 year old kid with no job. I have found this package and I really like how it looks (somewhat important to me). Please give me any advice you can.

you'll be highly disapponted. go to websites like onlinecarstereo.com, woofersetc.com, sonicelectronix.com.

try lookin into mb quart for a mono amp they're fairly cheap. something like this..

http://onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17711

and maybe a sub like this..

http://onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=19480

never look at peak power, when lookin to match power look at the RMS/continuous power.

if you're any good with wood working go to a hardware store and get a sheet of 3/4 MDF board and make a box to specs. go on rockford fosgate to the box wizrd and type in demensions and it'll add the box volume for you. you can also go to their wiring wizard to see how to wire the sub. that sub is a dual 4 ohm (2x4).
