Sub Help Alpine Type R

Alright I am running a Hifonics 1500 watt amp at 1 ohm. I have a two door Cherokee and I am putting in sound deadning right now. Currently I have 1 15" L7 Solo Baric Dual 2 Ohm. I'm now looking to either get 4 12" Type R's or 2 15" Type R's. Which will get lower? I know they are great SQ subs but I really like how my L7 gets really low and I don't really want to lose that but I want to gain some SQ. Thanks for you help.

P.S. Any other suggestions for subs? I'm looking for something around 400 dollars for 2.

i would assume the 2, 15's would get lower and sound great... from what i have heard, 15" type rs POUND and sound great... good luck
