Sub dimming lights

I have a 2010 Saab 93 with a after market 1 ohm Vibe sub running from a Vibe powerbox 400.1m amp.
When at a decent volume, my driving light "pump" with the power used by the sub. I have had the wiring for the sub checked proffesionally and all is good.
How can I counter this??
Thanks.

Halogen headlights? They are very sensitive to voltage. 400 watts shouldn't be causing an issue though. Measure actual voltage drop to get an idea. If voltage drop is pretty small a simple fix would be a HD relay harness for the headlights.

I have seen lights dim with a 250 watt amp. It all depends on a couple things. What size is your alternator, are your battery connections clean and solid, and is your battery good. It looks like your alternator is about 120 amps. Your amplifier is pulling about 30-40 amps. Try checking your battery and connections. If you wish to totally get rid of dimming lights, you will have to upgrade your alternator. A band aid would be into install a quality 5 farad capacitor. If you bump for long periods of time, then get a bigger capacitor.
