Sub cutting in and our at low volumes...

Recently my sub has started cutting in and out at lower volumes.. I can turn it up and it will wang away.. I took the sub out of the box and checked the wiring and sub and everything seems to be ok.. Could my sub be dieing?? Or does this usually happen all at once.. Or does wiring or something else more than likely seem to be the problem?? I just don't understand why it doesnt cut out when I have it wangin at 130+dB..

Well.. My sub cut out again today at a higher volume.. I went home and noticed that it would cut back in when I pressed in on the cone a little.. Is my sub shot?? What caused this?? Recones are out of the questions on L7s right?? ARG!!!

Well.. Its happened again.. Another tinsel lead broke! Second time this has happened to me.. My first L7 lasted almost 3 months before it broke.. Sent it back to kicker and they sent me a new one..

Now my warranty is out and Im stuck with the sub with a broken tinsel lead. Will soldering it back fix it?? What to do???
