was wondering what you guys use for running a bolt through box for speaker wire connection , what metal for bolt ??

Small length bolts, a few nuts, a few washers, stainless steel. Maybe a few bucks at most. Did this to my single 8 box.

I just drill a hole just big enough for the wires to squeeze through then use my caulk to stuff that *****

This is what I do. If the box is already cured then I will use hot glue instead so I don't have to wait for caulk to dry

yep just do small hole direct connection from amp to sub..

Yuppers....easy disconnect

I've used all 3 methods. I will warn you, if you use bolts make sure you secure them very tightly. They will get dangerously hot if they loosen up.

To an extent. I could hear the wood crunching while tightening mine so I stopped. Might add to use loc-tite....if it's ideal in this situation.
