Well, if I had two 2 ohm DVC subs, my options are .5 2 or 8 ohms. Well, I was wondering if I could wire to .5 ohms, and just add wire length or maybe run through a few aluminum posts or something that have resistance until I was showing a 1 ohm load. Theoretically it makes sense.
Cliffs: Amp only rated for 1 ohm. Have two 2 ohm DVC subs, trying to get 1 ohm for daily.
This sounds kinda dumb but I dont see why it couldnt work. I mean a lot of times its going to end up being more like .7 or .8 anyway after you wire it up.
Thoughts?
