I would probably go with larger. It might handle it fine, but you are pretty well limited to a 120A underhood fuse because of the size of the wire. If you find out that you are blowing that fuse you will have to rewire the main run. Do it right the first time with 2 ga or 1/0 and you won't have to worry about it.

I would run 1/0 Gauge if I were you....It would be safer, and gives you alittle room for upgrades in the future.

if i was to go with the 4 gauge and got a distributor block should i go with a T (1- 4 gauge input/2 4 gauge output) or a T (1- 0 gauge input/2 4 gauge output)

or

just run 2 4 gauge wires using 2 seperate fuse holders and a battery terminal
