Do have a question sry if this is like a newbie question but i have never used dowels in a box before how do i know where to mount them because i don't want the sub magnet hitting the dowel when the sub goes in ?

Measure the mounting depth of the subs and position the dowels a little further back from the front of the box than that measurement. If the subs have really big motors you can position the dowel in between the drivers.

Thanks Ion , oh alright volenti i'll do that then found out my mounting depth of my sub's are.

The cut out hole is 10-7/8dia

&

Mounting Depth is 5-5/8

Alright Ska ThX i didn't think so either but you know i just wanted to check to make sure. hopefully will be getting the MDF for the build at the begining of april sometime. Then off to the build I will be sure to take pic's

Well guy's just thought id give you a bit of an update im going to probably starting the build sometime next week will buy the MDF , Dowells and start the build i will be sure to take pic's.any other suggestion's or comment's before i start the build or tips would appericate them.

Hey guy's on that plan the width is 31 1/2 for that box that seems really small does that seem right?

People dont frequent the enclosure forum as much as the other forums for instance. Its also late for most of the US, so nobody is really on. 32hz isnt going to be as loud as 57 or something. if you want a decent SQ with good hard hitting bass too, look at perhaps something in the 40s. Since they are 12s, I wouldnt recommend 32hz.
