Alright guy's time has come to get my plan's ready for my two 12's pioneer Ts-W306's DVC sub's. i still have to do measuring and all that plan on that 2morro but i do have some question's.

1st question: being should i get MDF or HDF for this build , what's better?

2nd question: What should i tune it to going for SPL here but it's still a daily driver car but i plan on entering some comp's just to see what i meter as.

3rd question: Should i do a dual vent or just one of the right or one on the left what will the diffrence of the outcome be?

Any help , suggestions , comments i would really appericate:).

Well im gonna go with MDF just cause i looked up in lowe's.com and it's actually cheaper not much cheaper but ya know money is money. should i brace the box with wooden dowel's you think?

huh no this is only the 2nd box for these sub's jman i just built a sealed for em that's it now im just gonna go vented cause just want to get a better box cause i know i messed up this one to.

Idk wasn't me though jman. about my question's though could you help me out do you think i should use wooden dowel's for support or i don't think those sub's will get that loud what you think? i want to make this box real nice and sound loud to of course but im going to take more time into this box:). Would greatly appericate the help jman

Anyone ? would really appericate the help guess you could say im not much of a box builder but im helping a buddy of mine helping me he works at car tunes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. good friends with em but he want's me to have the plans and that ready so i gotta measure my trunk 2morro and all of that length , width anything else should measure?

Ok... chill out.

Its called a forum, not an instant messenger, for a simple reason. Because its a forum, not an instant messenger. You cant always expect instant responses.

MDF.

SPL is good to tune at around 50-60 (57/58 is common)depending on a lot of factors though.

Doesnt matter at all. I would personally use one port.

Ok thanks camry and i know that im just saying how it's kinda funny how sometimes there's quicker responses on who has like best sig or something like that . if i did go vented though think 32hz would be best for tuning?

People dont frequent the enclosure forum as much as the other forums for instance. Its also late for most of the US, so nobody is really on. 32hz isnt going to be as loud as 57 or something. if you want a decent SQ with good hard hitting bass too, look at perhaps something in the 40s. Since they are 12s, I wouldnt recommend 32hz.

yeah true. could care less about SQ man wierd everyone i talked to for those sub's tune the box to 32hz or around the 30's is what i've been told.
Everyone you talked to is probably on crack. SQ would be pretty good around the 30 range, which is probably what most people want. If you dont care about SQ and just want loud, 50s.
