well if you are going to go into comps on a regular basis 38hz jus for an added edge while also keeping the woofer sounding good. but if comps arent a priorty you would probably be happier with 36 for the lows

I think im gonna tune it to 36hz and not go into comp's with this setup. my upgraded system i will this for now daily driver still want it to pound nicely though ya know. thanks for all the help ska . do you make sketchup's or know how to make a box using that Re calculator sorry if that's a really newbie question.

well if your not going into comps at all lol jus tune to a flat 35hz. 4 cubes 60-70sq inches of port. With the RE calc just get the deminsions to what you want them. manipulate it to what you want then take into account driver displacement

PLEASE...don't tune it to 50hz.

AT THE MOST...I would go to 40hz, For a daily driver keep it around 35hz.

Yeah i thought that guy was wrong i never heard 50hz for a daily driver. Alright ska do you think you could make me a sketchup of the box if i gave you the spec's of the sub's and the size of my trunk?

im actually about to head off to work. im sure one of the other guys can help ya out. but if you want a good sketchup expect to pay 8-10 bucks

Oh alright. anyone on here think they can do a free sketchup for me i have no cash yet the way i will be paying for the material's for this box will be my birthday money so other then that im broke. in return i could do photoshop work for you if you like.

you should really use the RE calculator or subwoofertools.com. its not that hard to use and you would be learning how to do it at the sametime. if you have questions people on the forums dont mind anwering them and helping you out but unfortunatley no one normally is going to do it for you. if you attempt to use the tools and have questions, just ask and someone will help you out...

Do have a question sry if this is like a newbie question but i have never used dowels in a box before how do i know where to mount them because i don't want the sub magnet hitting the dowel when the sub goes in ?
