If you told the people your sub model and stuff and they told you 32, I dunno what to say. 32 isnt neccesarily horrible, but most SPL I see is much higher.

If you arent hellbent on ported, have you looked at bandpass?

Alright guy's i went and did some Pricing Turn's out Lowe's and home Depot sell MDF same price $20.96 here's the size of the sheet you get 49"x97" 3/4"thick.

Here are the dimension's of my trunk i got

Width across: 33" 1/4

Length up and down: 28" 1/4

Clearance with my trunk half closed : Around 24" 1/4

Any suggestion's on tuning the box would help alot. Here's the setup im working with

Two 12" Pioneer TS-W306DVC Subwoofers

DigitalAudio Monoblock DAB1800x Amp.

Well guy's i wrote pioneer what i had to work with etc...and this is the response i got from them.

i decided though im gonna go one side vent tuned to 32hz. but my one question i still have can someone make me a sketchup ? would really appericate it:)

Ok... chill out.
Its called a forum, not an instant messenger, for a simple reason. Because its a forum, not an instant messenger. You cant always expect instant responses.

MDF.

SPL is good to tune at around 50-60 (57/58 is common)depending on a lot of factors though.

Doesnt matter at all. I would personally use one port.
you have no idea what your talking about do you?

Yeah Ska i don't plan on listening to him none of that seemed right haha. but what you guy's think build a one side vented box for those sub's tuned to 32hz? if so can someone make me a sketchup sheet i tried to figure it out on the Re calculator but im really bad at measurements.

so will the woofers be firing into the cabin of the car? Or will they be sealed off from the cabin? If its sealed from the cabin I would go 36-37hz. if firing into the cabin go like 33-34hz
