Hey, I got a different car and i want to do a nice sound quality oriented system, i already have audioque component speakers, an arc audio ks amp, and an audioque 1200d amp. The deck im probably going to use is a eclipse avn52d and i ordered 44 square feet of dynamat already. I already bought one JL W3V3 single 2 ohm sub, and im going to order another one soon but what kind of box do you think i should use? i want the tighest punchiest bass possible, and i remember always reading that the box is what does that.

If you're worried about an SQ system, the sub is the last thing you should think about.

Go with a sealed enclosure. Of course the equipment is just a small piece to the SQ puzzle. Good luck with your project.

I have the 13W3V3-2 420 rms Kicker 08zx700.5 first in sealed 1.75 cf Recommended JL Sealed not very happy, changed too ported 2.5 cf 30 hz much better I listen too almost all different styles on music tighter bass on mi opinion with ported.
