I ran 4 13w7's in a partial wall off of 4 1000/1v2's for a while. I never got metered but they were pretty loud and definately moved some air on the lows. And they're not terribly far behind my DP21"s in output.

Even though I'm a JL fan, and I love the w7 (I own 2 of the 8w7's), I agree that the w6 is a cleaner sub. The w7 is very good, but the w6 is just better.

JL Audio makes some very good products

Nate Munson was able to get a W7 in his extreme 1 car within a half db or so of his DD sub. I do believe he was doing 170+. Granted it was 5 years ago or so but still...

Don't let the haters on this forum get to you with their mumbo jumbo about JL Audio being overpriced, or you can get better for less. They are just jealous because they can't afford it OR mommy and daddy will only buy them Hifonics!

did you seriously just say the 13w7 almost equaled the dp 21 in output?

jl is too over priced. i hope fckin 6+ subs in a wall off over 8k will do 150s. way better subs out there for the money.
