Speaker Volume

Ok. I don't know $hit about electrical components. So i apologize ahead of time if this is a stupid question. I drive a 1991 Audi Coupe Quattro, I replaced the front and rear speakers myself. The fronts are like little 3 or 4 inchers and the rear are 5 1/2 i think. I just upgraded my head unit to a new sony. I had a shop install it because the audi speakerwire color coding is weird. So heres my question, when i crank the volume to any decent level, i get most of my volume from my front speakers and hardly anything out of the rear. is it possible the shop reversed the wires? Also, the front speakers POP. Don't know if thats related or not. Any and all help is deeply appreciated. Thanks

somethings not right but i would have to see it to know

You can take a AA battery and touch it to wires and see where the noise comes from they prolly mixed a few up and your fronts shouldnt be popping bad sign might be blown already now but fix it soon and dont play it that loud

Thanks. I'll try the AA thing. I have been told that the popping can be a result of a loose connection. And i don't blast my music, which is why the popping irritates me. As soon as i turn it to an audible level, they pop.
