Nothing beats a tight box
So last Fri I installed my new Cadence components. Today, while driving to class they started making a really bad noise through the comps and sub. So I took the door panels off and discovered that when I put mu window down, it caught the tweeter wire and sent it right to ground. Needless to say, my new drivers are toast:crying:
I put my old school Kicker free-airs in there place, but now as soon as the head unit powers on, I get a buzzing from the comps. When I turn the gain up on my amp, the buzzing gets louder. I searched the threads, and since I am using a Pioneer hu, I am going to try grounding the RCA's tomorrow. Is there anything else I should look for before I head out?
This is my current set up:
Pioneer 3100 p
Cadence comps
Crossfire CFA 354
PG Ti600.2
PLD1
Single IDmax 12
