speaker problems!!!

Hey whats up! I'm having some trouble with my trucks speakers and i wanted to ask for any help! i have an '08 GMC Acadia, and it had the original head unit! I was having problems with my speakers, which they would alternate which ones would work for the day! The tweeters have always worked, but sometimes just the fronts work, other times just the driver side, then only the rear ones, etc etc! i had went to my local best buy just to ask around, and they had told me maybe it was just the head unit wasn't fit to make all speakers work at the same time! so i went ahead, bought a new head unit (JVC) and installed it! yet I'm still running into the same issue! now, i do want to change the speakers for better sound, since i believe the speakers are still the factory ones, but i want to know if theres anything i can do in order to get them all working before i go buying good speakers!

no amp! but I'm planning to putting one to handle the speakers I'm planning on buying!
