i have a 03 lancer oz rally and my back speakers blew and i bought new speakers but not the stock one i bought Pioneer - 6-1/2" 3-Way Car Speakers with Polypropylene Cones Up to 220W peak power; 6-1/2" polypropylene cones; 1-5/8" paper cone midrange and 3/8" dome tweeter; rubber-coated cloth surrounds and they do not put out as much base as my stock ones did any advice would be help full should i hook up a amp to them and i also have a stock head unit i just want my bass to be back to normal or better if possible for lil money as possible

what size were the original speakers? 6x9s will put out more bass than the 6.5s. did u think about adding a sub? that would give u more bass than amping the rear speakers.

amp those pups. get a 4chan and replace your fronts too. sub would be a good investment for the lows seeing that is a concern. too much info on the speaker description tho lulz also stock speakers are supposed to be "full range" which is impossible. aftermarkets have narrower freq ranges most of the time i think.

replace the fronts

get a 4chan amp

install crossovers

and throw in a sub

you'll be good to go. $200 min if you look in the right places.
