Speaker position in the trunk

well i have a kicker l7 in a ported box and i had it facing towards the trunk and it sounded alright.. but when i turned it around and faced it towards the car but put it all the way at the end of the trunk it ****in pounds and its louder inside and out,...

i dont know why it would make that much of a difference to be hoenst

i had mine firing back and it was alot louder outside the car and a little louder inside to the ear, alot more rattles and flex. now its firing into the cabin its louder to the mic and not as loud outside. im switching it back to rear firing very soon, though. i think im getting cancelation at higher volume with it firing into the car since the sub isnt 100% sealed off from the trunk.

I had mine facing the cabin and sealed off and i just turned it port back and subs back and it was noticeably louder everything facing back. Just see whats the best in your car. Every car is different.

Yes I was recently think facing them towards the cabin but then facing them away so the vibrations back fire into the cabin idk yet but your all right just try different positions
