I have no idea what any of these things do, but this is how the installer had them set. He seemed like he was rushing though. He didn't even listen to it when he was tuning. He just set them to however he thought they would sound best.

i'd also lower the filter on the 2150 to about 80 and see how it sounds. If too much distortion, slowly move it up.
It was lower before, but the speakers would turn off cuz they got too hot? i brought it back to the shop and he turned them up to 200.

First day I had them installed, the driver speaker would shut off then passenger side, then both. They played the next day.

Then it sounds like a defect to me. Those spkrs should be able to play down to 80hz with no problem. Hope they didn't sell you ****ed up spkrs.

its hard for us to tune your system over the internet.... play with a little and do what sounds good to your ears
Yea, but I have no idea what each thing does. I would just be turning knobs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif. Just wanted to see if any of my settings are out of the ordinary.

I'll probably end up paying someone to turne it right. Someone that will actually spend more than 30 seconds messing with the settings.

what do these hz do? whats teh difference with 200hz and 20hz?

200hz has almost no midbass at all, where 20hz is almost all bass. Average comps should be able to play down to 80z with no problem. sounds like you got:boink:

oh ok, so does that affect the fact that my speakers turned off or got hot? It just shut off temporarily.

That audio guy said turning up the hz would fix that problem because the speakers can't handle the amp??

he lied to you. Seems like he's trying to cover up their mistake
