Speaker plastic rim starting to separate need help.

O really so it does not need to be there for the speaker to work ? I thought if that plastic part was not there speaker would start to tear off the base. That's what I was thinking ether superglue or like epoxy .

 
on cones, we used to use clear fingernail polish at competitions in a crunch. It seals, works great, is lightweight and drys very fast. But ya its just plasic so super glue should be fine.

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
