Does anyone know of a way that you can add a set of new back speakers to a Nissan Pathfinder, 08 with the BOSE system and not have to replace all of the speakers

Yea just pull out the old ones and pop in the new ones or are you talking about adding two more speakers. That would require a line out converter and a small amp

No just replacing the stock ones, I just wanted to make sure the BOSE system wasn't going to have a small amp attached to their speaker in the door or that they didn't have a strange Ohm rating

standard 4ohm speakers should work with the amp thats in there ive done way to many installs with bose without a problem

Nice, thanks bud, I am running two Subs into it with the line out converter, am I going to need to find the amps in there and run the LOC after them or can I do it from the radio harness?

Why is that? I would've said tap the LOC on the rear speaker wires from the head unit before the stock amp, so as to get a signal before any processing has been done.

that works too. i tap the mids because they are normally fullrange and the amp is normally in the trunk
