a small baffle made from mdf and sealed to to actual door should improve your sound add deadening to that it should make a big enough difference for you to think you bought new speakers over what you have now lol. do this to any speaker it should sound no worse than pretty good even if they were pyramid mids.......

the speakers are the ones in my sig...and there diamond audio man they sound great...its not the speakers...it might even be my eq...i havent set it yet...or even the gains yet

the mdf baffle deadens the metal around the speaker to stop it from viberating. not only that you are almost assured to get a tighter ring around the speaker with the mdf baffle. seal around the baffle and door with modeling clay or even silicon depending on how perminate you wanted to make it (if you use silicon let it dry over night and air out before you mount the speakers so it wont damage the speakers.
