I've never heard of them before, but seem promising. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I was wondering how the 8.2 Iridium 8" woofer performs vs the 6.5". Obviously, it will have better low end response, but does it hold flat to the tweeter crossover point? I may be over analyzing this, as the audible difference may be negligible.
Also, what material are the speakers made out of? I'm a sucker for smooth sounding silk tweeters, and frightenly the DLS' appear to utilize aluminum or such //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
I was looking at prices and specs of Diamond D9 and the usual CDT ES-620Z/Focal lineups when I found these //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Also in the latest search for equipment, I noticed that the ED 6500 component set uses woofers and crossovers that look **** near identical to CDT. Could it be that the ED 6500 uses the same woofers as the CDT ES series (sans 07)?
