Soundqubed hds3 do anything?

Why stay away from 3 subs if balanced adequately? Just curious
2 15s gives more cone area than 3 12s

also imo easier to impedance match with an amp

3 subs ohm/wiring depending will give .67,2.67,.33, 1.33 ohm loads

2 subs 1,4,.25,2 ohm load

I own soundqubed subs, the hds2 versions though. my cvr's shat all over them on every level. thought they were gna be louder but I was wrong. now im stuck with 4 hds2 15s. lesson learned. however, I hear the hds3 subs are decent for the price. from what ive seen, not heard at least
Idk that makes no sense how would the cvrs "shat all over them on ever level." They are so closely spec'd. Did you make any other changes? Did you just directly swap 4 cvrs into 4 hds2's into the same build/box or what? I personally ran hds2 15's at ~900w each for over a year and never had a problem.

I had 2 hds315 on a sq 2200, 8 cubes after displacement tuned to 32 hz. Hit 147 on tones and 145 on music. Sounded pretty nice. Didnt hit lows like i wanted as in anything under 30. Maybe i needed more power. Xmax isnt that high on these 28mm
