sound deadener?

I've seen the MSDS for that and it doesn't contain asphalt - although Rick has inexplicably stated that he wished he could get them to put a small amount of asphalt into it, which makes no sense to me at all. Regular RAAMmat BXT is stickier than the higher priced and higher quality alternatives, but it doesn't smear on your hands. THe adhesive is rubbery, but not as elastic as the others.
What's the MSDS??

I also find it odd that he'd want asphalt content. Possibly to drive down manuf costs? Knowing him, I'm sure he'd pass the saving on to his customers.

I believe I have the RAAM incarnation just after the EG batch. Very sticky but also still "tar-like" - thus my earlier question.

Put some VMax under my hood a few months back and have checked for thermal break down and loss of integrity and it really hasn't changed. Even the butyl that's exposed on the edges is still holding strong. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

I have DP on my door skins and have checked that as well. Still doing mucho excellente.
